The plant was inaugurated last weekend.<br>It is the largest WWTP in the state, with a treatment capacity of 900 liters of wastewater per second.<br>In addition to generating jobs, boosting the local economy, and introducing new technologies to the sanitation sector, the WWTP will bring significant positive impacts to the region\u2014such as improved water quality, reduced pollution of water bodies, and enhanced environmental preservation.<br>Due to the excellence in the execution of the Ara\u00e7\u00e1s WWTP, Agis has also taken on a new project in the region: the construction of the Ca\u00e7aroca WTP (Water Treatment Plant), which will treat 1,500 liters of water per second.
