J. Cardoso de Almeida Sobrinho Engenharia e Construções is founded, in São Paulo, focusing on the railway segment.


The company is renamed Construtora Ferreira Guedes. It expands its area of operation to include road, sanitation and industrial infrastructure.


In this decade, Construtora Ferreira Guedes becomes an outstanding company in the construction sector, being recognized four times by FGV with the business excellence award.


The construction company is acquired by the Construcap Group, and becomes part of one of its holdings - Agrocap, which operates in various segments of civil construction, including the production of aggregates, through Territorial São Paulo Mining.


After a family corporate reorganization, Agrocap separates from the Construcap Group. Bringing together the holding's companies, the Agis Group is created, which marks the beginning of an accelerated and sustained growth process. ADtranz Sistemas Eletromecânicos is incorporated by acquisition, a company that specializes in solutions for the metro-rail and energy segments.


Construtora Ferreira Guedes has won the Seconci-SP Health and Safety at Work Award four times, for its risk control actions at the Amparo, Apiaí, São Vicente and Anhembi (SP) DER construction sites.


Construtora Ferreira Guedes is among the 10 largest engineering companies in the country, according to the Ranking of Brazilian Engineering, an annual survey conducted by the magazine O Empreiteiro. In a process of repositioning and consolidation of the Agis Group's brands, the business units begin the transition to become Agis Construção, Agis Sistemas and Agis Mineração.
